We held our first official party in the craft space this afternoon! A fun gathering for friends of Emma – celebrating her 9th birthday. These ladies were so fun – so polite – and so QUIET! I’m a mom to boys so quiet doesn’t exist in our house – I’m not used to it.
They all decorated their own paper mache dog – and they totally rocked the stock of repurposed items we have on hand. Nearly every dog sported some amazing earrings, necklace, floral hat, or blinged-out collar. When I envisioned what the craft studio would look like this was exactly what I had in mind. Their imaginations were AWESOME!
Emma’s mom and grandma brought some yummy cake, sherbet and juice boxes for the girls to enjoy after they crafted. And each left with their own very unique piece that I’m sure will find its way to the mantel in their homes. 🙂
