We are currently seeking creative individuals to fill part-time positions for the holiday season. Candidates should have an interest in home decor, vintage goods, and a passion for small business. Messy hands are a common working hazard. Past retail experience is preferred. A love for children and experience leading them in group activities is a must. An ability to create eye pleasing merchandise displays is beneficial. Must be confident in working independently, yet also a team player. Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are a must.
Responsibilities include leading craft studio workshops, children’s parties, or providing advice on crafting during open studio hours. On occasion, may be asked to paint furniture, create craft studio samples, or complete other projects that may be sold in the store. Some visual merchandising may be required. When interacting with customers, individuals should be comfortable completing transactions. This could include handling money and counting back change. A knowledge of Square or other register application would be helpful.
On average, individuals will work approximately 10 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings. All applicants must have a high school degree or equivalent.
